12.      Duty of Rural Municipality or Municipality: (1) If the occurrence of a personal event required to be registered pursuant to this Act comes to its knowledge, the concerned Rural Municipality or Municipality shall remind and convince and provide necessary assistance to, the concerned person with respect to the registration of information of such an event.
(2)        It shall be the duty of the Rural Municipality or Municipality to provide necessary assistance to the deputed employee or the Local Registrar in the course of the functions required to be performed pursuant to this Act or the Rules framed hereunder.
